JEAN VAN GULICK Jean Van Gulick, 94, of Raytown, MO went to be with her Lord, January 12, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16th at 10:00 am at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Her parents emigrated from Holland in 1910, making her a "first generation" American. She was born April 20, 1919 in New Jersey and resided there for 53 years until moving to Florida in 1972 where she and Harry worked for Bibletown Community Conference Center, Boca Raton, FL. In 1992, they made their home in Raytown, MO. She attended Blue Ridge Bible Church in Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents Emma and Albert Brouwers, husband Harry Van Gulick, grandson Philip Van Gulick and four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son Edward (Nancy) Van Gulick of Kansas City, MO, grandsons Dale (Susan) Van Gulick of Shawnee, CO. and Paul (Diahanne) Van Gulick of Flippin, AR., Eight great grandchildren: Matthew, Steven, Jeffrey, Harry, Emmilee, Timothy, Naomi and Aydin Van Gulick and sister Min Frey of Agawam, MA.
