Highlands Ranch - Jeanne Ann Hoskins, 89, formerly of Fort Collins Colorado, died May 8, 2020 at the Mill Vista Assisted Living facility in Highlands Ranch, CO. She was born October 9, 1930 in Oberlin, Kansas, to Emil and Lucille Petracek. She married Herbert Hoskins on October 4, 1953 and he survives.

Also surviving are, two sons, Richard Hoskins (wife Karen) of Dayton, Nevada, and Ronald Hoskins (wife Michelle) of Denver, Colorado; three grandchildren, Lindsay Hoskins of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ryan and Emily Hoskins of Denver, Colorado and one sister Marsha Wiltfong of Norton, Kansas. Her father, mother and brother, Howard Petrecek preceded her in death.

Jeanne grew up in northwest Kansas graduating from Oberlin High School prior to attending Kansas State University where she attained both a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree. She worked for the Culinary Arts Institute in Chicago, Illinois, the Kansas Extension Service Nutrition program and was the Director of School Food Service for the Great Bend, Kansas School District.

Jeanne's hobbies included quilting, knitting, crocheting, crafting and volunteering in civic organizations.

Jeanne and Herb moved from Great Bend to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1994

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. The burial will be at the Fort Logan Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
