Good bye to you Mrs Johnson, I think of all the years & memories our families had together. Your daughters baby sat us, Eddie & I grew up together like brother & sister, I also remember Mr Johnson, I was young when he passed but I do remember him. The beautiful flowers & plants in your yard, watching you tend to all of them over the years, & oh yes the cement pond you built in the backyard was something else for sure.! Sure do remember hot summer days when you would let us go swimming in it to cool off. There's so much, so many stories it would take another life to thank you for all of them. I'm so happy that Geraldine & I got to see you the day we drove down so see what changes had been made been made by the new owners to our house. One thing that I want to thank you for is when you visited my mother upon her move to assisted living. You were one of the few that came to see her from her friends, that made her very happy. So with a tear in my eye & pain in my heart I bid you our last good bye. May you find peace in your heart & all your loved ones that left you too soon. God bless, you are some kind of special lady in my eyes.

We live across the street from Jeanne and she was such a wonderful presence in our lives. She was quick to share a gardening tip and added many plants to our yard over the years. Our young children adored her and she will be sorely missed.
