Jeanne Shank Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 8, 2025.
Springfield - Born January 16th, 1947, Jeanne Annette Shank passed away on August 17th, 2025. She grew up in Klamath Falls, OR, where she roamed the hillsides with her horse, Scout, and developed her uniquely exacting and artistic sewing craft amidst her talented seamstress and decorator parents.

She was married to Don McBride from 1975 to 1981 and Charles Shank from 1982 until 2000. She raised a family on Bainbridge Island, WA. There she established Interiors by Annette, a sole-proprietorship that delighted hundreds of customers with professionally made custom slipcovers, draperies, and clothing spanning a forty-year career. In 2001, Annette moved back to Springfield, OR, where she continued to sew for clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Annette was a loving and supportive mother, classical pianist, and tennis player. She loved gardening and grew beautiful flowers. She could find humor in any situation. A Francophile at heart, she always wished to visit Provence and speak French with the locals. Annette was a believer in Jesus Christ and looked forward to returning to Him. She will be missed and loved always.
