It's always been hard living this far from family, but at times like this it seems downright cruel, as we wish we could do for you. We think of you daily, remembering Jeff with affection. He was so sweet with Mae when we had lunch together at the farm that last time, both of them with their Madden eyes! Please be good to yourselves.

My deepest sympathy at this difficult time. Jeff was such a gentle soul. His smile was wide, his laugh infectious. Knowing him in elementary and high school was truly a joy. He even made English class fun, and that's what I will always remember.

As I said in my e-mail, our thoughts and prayers are with you. My funniest memory of Jeff is when he put the striped, one piece bathing suit on and posed for pictures at McCreary's beach. He also threw me in the lake when I was about 24 years old. Only 28 years ago. His memory will live on forever.

My happiest memories are of McCreary's beach and skiing with the Madden Family on Mississippi Lake. As a teen, I was always so excited when Jeff arrived...he was so fun to be around and that gorgeous smile lit up the resort. His memory will certainly live. I hope that happy memories will continue to fill your hearts and make you smile.

It was such a shock to hear of Jeff's passing. There are no words that seem adequate for such a painful time. Wish we lived closer....Just know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Mississippi Lake won't be the same without him.

I apologized that I couldn't make it today..My thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember the day, Jeff called me in Toronto, as he heard from Mom, I was on holidays. Sure enough he showed up at 4:15 pm with blue truck and I sedoos. well ...Let the party begin..needless to say Jeff and I had so much fun..I'm sure he related the trip..let's say we had a lot of fun. After that weekend Jeff accepted my trust , as we had many conversation of family, friend, occupation and future.
Jeff called me several times after that to stay for the weekend as he attended conferences downtown Toronto.. It was pleasure to know Jeff and discussing his future..
love always and sincere sympathy thought and prayer with you....
P.S. Oh Yah! can't forget the many Christmas days we spent together at Moms/ It seemed like Jeff's tradition to spend a few hours at Moms to discusss the year,and other interest that he was into..It went on for years. Mom and I is looking forward every Christmas.Jeff made a point of being there..as he enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed it "Thanks, JEFF"
