Jeffrey Mark Chevalier

CHEVALIER Jeffrey Mark Chevalier, age 61, of Columbus, is finally breathing freely after meeting his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 22, 2008. He left this life honorably, serving in the United States Navy earning various medals while defending his country in the Vietnam War from 1964-1967. In his early years, Jeff enjoyed racing stock cars and was a NASCAR enthusiast. He also loved his Harley Davidson and his chow chow, Nanook. He retired from over-the-road truck driving after 40 years. Preceded in death by his father Jerry Chevalier and mother Dorothy Chevalier, as well as sister Jo Ann Solow. Survived by daughter, Karen (Eric) Frazier; grandchildren, Ryan, Katelyn, Elijah Frazier; ex-wife, Carolyn Chevalier; very dear friends, Hal and Melissa Joslyn; sister, Mary Hoffman; brothers, Steve and Jerry Chevalier; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday 12Noon, EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Dr. Tracy Fowler officiating. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
