Jeffrey Allen Little

Jeffrey Allen Little, born on May 24, 1968, in Dearborn, Michigan, to Marvin "Sonny" Blackburn and Judith "Judy" Little, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois, surrounded by his loving family.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Judy, and his brother, James Little.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 30 years, Ava Merrell, her two daughters, Stevie and Jacqui, and her two granddaughters, Jayden and Haven; his daughter, Tiffanie White; and his sister, Kimberly Little. He also leaves behind many aunts and uncles, including Dave and Gina Blackburn, and numerous cousins and good friends.

Jeff owned and operated Superior Painting and Remodeling for over a decade, leaving a lasting mark on countless homes and businesses. Outside of his professional life, he was an avid collector of rare and valuable coins, meticulously building a treasured collection. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for gardening and landscaping, creating beauty wherever he went. He also found peace and excitement in fishing and bow hunting. Above all, he cherished his time spent with family and friends, creating memories that will be held dear by all who knew him.

Though he never sought the spotlight, Jeff touched so many lives with his quiet strength and compassion. He was the first to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His legacy is one of kindness, empathy, and generosity of spirit. Jeff faced countless challenges in his 57 years, but he met each one with unwavering resilience. His inner strength and ability to overcome inspired us all. As we mourn, we also celebrate the tenacious spirit that carried him through life.

As we bid farewell to Jeff, let us carry forward the love and laughter he brought into our lives. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and hold tight to the bonds of family. Let Jeff's legacy inspire us every day to live fully and love fiercely.
