Jeffrey Don Richardson, Jacksonville, Florida passed away in Jacksonville, Monday, January 2, 2012. A funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church with Monsignor Kenneth Seifried, celebrant. Burial will be in Whiting City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday with a scripture prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa. Jeffrey was born November 8, 1975 at Brunswick, Maine, the son of Larry and Peggy (Morrow) Richardson. He graduated from East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, FL and furthered his education at the University of South Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology and later an associate degree in information technology. Jeffrey and Leanne Iams were united in marriage October 5, 2007 and were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Grace Catherine, November 29, 2011. Survivors include his wife, Leanne and their infant daughter, Grace Catherine of Jacksonville; his parents, Larry and Peggy (Morrow) Richardson of Palm Harbor, FL; two brothers, Shane Richardson of Los Angeles, CA and Chad Richardson, his wife Gina and their two children, Kayla and Braeden of University Park, MD; a grandmother, Esther Richardson of Whiting, IA; several aunts and uncles including Pam (Morrow) Hoesing, Karen (Richardson) Moberg, Marlene (Reed) Richardson, Philip Morrow, Fred Richardson with his wife, Barbara (Fiala) Richardson and many cousins. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irma and Patrick Morrow and Don Richardson; four uncles, Dr. John Hoesing, Tom Richardson, Pat Morrow III and Gene Moberg and an aunt, Cheryl (Emsick) Morrow. Memorials may be directed to Amazing Grace Fund for Grace's Education, in care of the family.

My dad was very loving, and helpful to my mom and Grandma. He was generous and fixed anything he was told to. My dad cooked lovely meals for my mom when she had me. Now I know he is looking down on me and watching me grow up. Soon I will be with him in heaven and we will all be reunited again.
