Brian J. Rios Resident of Antioch Brian Jeffrey Rios, age 44, the beloved son of Tony G. Rios, of Cottonwood CA was born Feb. 28, 1965 at Pittsburg Community Hospital and died on Oct. 20, 2009 at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Dixie Neil Rios. He is survived by his sister, Suzanne Nkhereanye and her husband Jomo of Reno, NV; brothers Michael David Rios of Portland OR and Forest Austin Rios of Cottonwood, CA; sister Skye Brion Rios and step-mother Cathryn J. Rios of Cottonwood. Jeff's grandfather, William Rivera resides in Modesto, CA. Jeff has many uncles and aunts, cousins and friends in the East County and an uncle in Ohio. Jeff worked for Lucky Store's for more than ten years and was a night crew manager. He later had a painting business with his best buddy Bruce, located in Brentwood, Antioch, and Pittsburg. Jess was raised on Daisy Way in Antioch and graduated from Antioch High School in 1983. Jeff Loved cars, Carla, chocolate and rock n'roll. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service celebrating Jeff's life at 2pm Wed. Oct. 28, 2009 at the Community Presbyterian Church, 200 East Leland Road in Pittsburg. The Rev. Kevin Buchanan presiding. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been sponsored by the Church and proceeds will go to the Brian Jeffrey Rios Victim of Violent Crime Memorial Fund.
