San Clemente - With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jeffrey D. Watt, at the age of 58 on May 16, 2024. He was raised in Scituate MA and lived in California 24 years.

Jeff graduated from Scituate High in 1984, Tilton School in 1985, and Boston University in 1989.

Jeff started his career with Cigna Insurance in Los Angeles. In 1994, he chose to represent clients interests becoming an employee benefits consultant with EBS, Inc. Houston and then Precept Group in California before starting his own firm W Insurance Services. Throughout his career, Jeff was a champion for his clients, always advocating for the best results.

Jeff leaves behind his loving family; His wife, Jacqui (Adams) Watt and daughters Lillijane and Emerson of San Clemente, CA; parents, Carol and Don Watt of Scituate; his brother James Watt and sister-in - law Beth Watt of Houston and his sister Jennifer (Watt) Sheskey and brother -in-law Michael Sheskey of Scituate.

He was the loving uncle to Alexandra, Griffin, Baker and Nolan Watt; Hannah, William and Michael Sheskey.

Jeff thoroughly enjoyed being a "girl dad" and constantly gushed with joy on their various pursuits. He was known for his endless curiosity of all things, his love of life and for the depth of the friendships he made throughout his life.

He was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed golf and shooting sports with many friends and family. In addition, Jeff was an avid live music fan, lover of comedians and a world class foodie.

He remained a faithful fan of all Boston Sports.

His quit wit, funny stories , and hilarious expressions , along with his great laugh and ear to ear smile will be remembered by all who knew him and loved him.

A Celebration of Jeff's life will be held on August 1, 2024 at Scituate Country Club from 4-7 pm for friends and family.
