Jeffrey Scott Wheatcraft, 57, passed away on Tuesday morning, October 27th, 2015 in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
He was born on July 28, 1958 in Franklin to Horace Eddie Wheatcraft and Mary Faith (Bulmahn )Wheatcraft. Jeff married Annette (Drews) Wheatcraft on July 4, 1981. She loving survives in Franklin. Also surviving are two daughters, Becky Smith of Franklin and Liz Johnson of Nashville, Indiana; one brother, Kevin Wheatcraft of Gosport and grandchildren, Jasmine Smith, Aiden Johnson and Madison Johnson. He was preceded in passing by his parents and one brother, Horace Edward Wheatcraft.
Jeff was a graduate of Greenwood High School and received an associate's degree from Ivy Tech.
He was employed by G & P Machinery in Indianapolis for over thirty years.
He was a member of Southern Indiana 4-wheel drive Association and the Amity Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Saturday, October 31st at 2:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call on Saturday, October 31st from 11:00 a.m. to time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.

Was so sorry to find out about the passing of Jeffery. Would like to talk to a family member in reference to Horce Wheatcraft. He was my Mentor in Ham Radio.

With heavy heart goodbye Jeff. Mary and I will miss you and will remember you forever. Jeff was a great man, always willing to help and will be missed by the jeeping community.
