Jenna DeAddio Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 9 to Feb. 11, 2023.
Jenna Marie DeAddio, age 37, passed on Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Southampton, New York. Born on May 13, 1985, in Buffalo, New York, Jenna was the daughter of Monica Bysinger, Jay Bysinger, Bruce Bickelmann, and Amy Bickelmann. She is survived by her parents; husband, Mike; beloved dog, Riley; and younger brothers, John and Joey Bickelmann.

She was part of the 2003 graduating class of Roswell High School. Her creative passion took her to the University of Georgia (UGA) where she studied fashion. In 2007, she graduated from UGA with a degree in fashion, and a career ambition that took her straight to New York City. While in New York, she worked with such brands as Lauren Taylor, Ralph Lauren, and Milly. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, making hand-made cards/notes for loved ones, spending time with her Hamptons' community, and dancing in the sand with her friends on their favorite beaches.

Jenna was incredibly creative and unapologetically ambitious. She was known for her strong and independent mind and spirit. She left a lasting impact on her family and friends. In her niche Hamptons' community, she was the epitome of a socialite, and had high hopes of running for Congress. She was highly opinionated about politics, and never shied away from a friendly debate. She was not one to be swayed by outside influences, especially those viewed as unwanted and potentially harmful. It was through that lens she discerned it best to not take the experimental COVID shots. She was proudly unvaccinated.

Jenna continues to be dearly loved by her family including aunts, Michelle, Kim, Pippa, and Cindy; uncles, Felix, Stanley, Peter, and Paul; and cousins, Michael, Tommy, Nicole, Madison, Andrea, Ali, and Will, and will be missed beyond belief. A small private celebration of life on what would be Jenna's 38th birthday in May 2023, will be celebrated by her immediate family. Meanwhile, the family plans to privately spread her ashes in all her favorite spots. Donations will be made in Jenna's honor to an aneurism foundation. The proceeds will go toward raising awareness of symptoms and risk factors of brain aneurysms, while advancing research to improve patients' outcomes and save lives.
