Jennifer Michelle McCandless-Weddle was born March 24, 1982, in Vancouver, WA.
She passed away August 03, 2005, at home in Prosser, WA, surrounded by those who loved her dearly.
Jennifer and Nathan were joined in a Spiritual Union of God on June 08, 2005, in the Kadlec Medical Center chapel in Richland.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Nathan Weddle; mother and father, Donna and Jim McCandless; mother and father in-law, Faye and Robert Weddle; grandmother, Ilah; brother, Robert and wife, Debbie; brother, Aaron and wife, Melanie; sister, Christine and husband, Aaron; sister, Jamie and husband, Giles; brother, Jason; brother, Joshua; niece, Dana; nephew, Isiah; and lots of special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
We would like to give thanks to everyone who prayed for Jennifer. We would like to give a special thanks to the nurses on the third floor at Kadlec Medical Center, Tri-Cities Hospice, Dr. Thomas Rado and the staff at the Tri-City Cancer Center, the Rev. Alicia Reidy, who made Jennifer's last wish come true to marry her one and only love, Nathan, and aunt Bern who made Jennifer's last hours peaceful. Thank you to all the wonderful family, friends, hospital staff and generous people who were so gracious to help Jennifer and Nathan.
A very special thank you to Jennifer's donor, who gave us the extra eight precious months with her. Words cannot express the love that everyone has given to Jennifer and her family.
Jennifer lived life to the fullest and always did it her own way.
Jennifer you will always be in our hearts.
Jennifer's celebration of life will be Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at 10 a.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside, and burial at Grandview Cemetery.
Viewing will be Monday, August 08, 2005, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. In Lieu of flowers donations in Jennifer's name can be made to: Pete Gross House, Family Assistance Fund, 525 Minor Ave. W., Seattle, WA 98109 or 'Waves of Wind and Light' chapel sculpture, Kadlec Hospital Foundation, 888 Swift Blvd., Richland, WA 99352.

I am so sorry to read about this. I first heard Jennifer's story when the Herald did an article about her wedding in the paper. I thought it was very special that accomodations were made for her. My heart and thoughts go out to her young husband and all of her friends and family. Peace, friends.
