I had clearly lost touch with Jerilyn as I just found this out as I was looking her up. I worked with Jerilyn in 1998-1999 and helped her find her office space in Santa Monica. She was such a lovely and bright women- who loved her dog so much and was so kind and warm. I have many fond memories of Jerilyn and her memory lives on forever.

Jerilyn and I had a wonderful friendship. We met at Warner-Amex, and were lucky enough to work at Showtime together as well. As young women in NYC, we found kindred spirits and best friends at work, no less! We hung out after work frequently, worked out together, went to the beach. Oh how she loved going to the beach! She helped me prepare for my wedding, making all those decisions. When she lived in New York on the upper east side after her first stint in LA, we were also able to be together. I remember taking my kids over to her apartment across the street from the park, and my daughter Anna, played with Zoe.
As my life progressed to include husband, children, a move to Long Island, we kept in touch frequently. She and I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful friendship. I am shocked and so very, very sad.
My brilliant friend JK...

Jerilyn was an amazing person. Every studio executive owes her a debt of thanks for her brilliant analysis, particularly in the area of home video, which her numbers-crunching helped establish as serious business. The industry couldn't have had a better spokesperson.
Beyond her professional skills, which were formidible, she was a wonderful person: warm, witty and fun, generous and caring. She left an indelible impression on those who knew her, and for that reason, will never really be "gone." Love you, Jerilyn!

I am shocked by Jerilyn's passing. She was a great friend and a genius in the business world. We had planned on working together closely in the years to come. I have a special place in my heart for her because I have a son who was in Iraq in the Marine Corps. JK called me frequently to inquire if he was OK. I will miss her more than I can say. Que Dios te bendiga, Jerilyn.

OMIGOD. I am so saddened to learn about Jerilyn's passing. I had just reconnected with her about a month ago and we were trying to schedule a time to get together. So very very very sad. I always said the best thing about my job was the times you met those special people who you immediately felt a bond with. Jerilyn was one of those special people and I will always remember her vivacious personaility, her strong shoulder that she so generously lent me so many times to lean on and her bigger than life smile.
Always in my heart,

Jerilyn opened her office next to my Studios some seven years ago. I was fortunate enough to become her friend. She was always available for advice, giving her time and friendship generously. Her enthusiasm and knowledge were abundant. I will certainly miss our chats and her wonderful sense of humor. I am deeply saddened, Bless You JK.

Possessing of a huge heart, sharp mind and great humor, JK represented the best of humanity; constantly seeing the possibility in things, sometimes frustrated by the reality of things, and always driven to make the world and all around her better. She will be terribly missed.

I'm so saddened to learn of JK's passing. She loved to brainstorm on a white board, marker in hand. I'm just imagining a big white board with the title "JK's Core Competancies." The list we all could create would be endless --ranging from brilliant strategist to generous heart.

Like everyone, I was shocked to read of Jerilyn's passing. Surely this couldn't be the same JK that I worked with years ago at Warner Amex, and later at Showtime.
Engaging, innovative, and enthusiastic about each and every project she became involved with.
Taken too soon.

I was shocked and so sorry to hear about Jerilyn's passing. Professionally, she was always generous with her time and offered perceptive and helpful feedback. And I liked Jerilyn personally, because of her kind heart. Although I did not know her very well, I will miss her.

Jerilyn was the best neighbor one could imagine. She was the "wecoming committee" here and we lived next door to her for 4 years until we moved to another floor this year. My husband and I just heard this news Saturday and we are grief stricken. She was one of our very best friends. Our sympathy to her mother, Phillis, and all those close to her.

I was struck, saddened and disheartened to learn of Jerilyn's passing. She continues in my memory as an energetic, brilliant, lively person, whose influence continues in my life. Jerilyn and I co-founded a great research project and she led it for several years. My heart felt condolences to her mother and friends.

I'm sooooo sorry to hear about Jerilyn's passing from a colleague. I knew her professionally for many years and as a guest speaker in my UCLA program. She was a perceptive, vibrant futurist who loved to share her knowledge and insights. She will be missed by many people, including myself.

My sincerest and deepest condolences to Jerilyn's family and all of us who loved her. We have lost a great soul who had a beautiful heart. So special, so smart and too young to leave us. I valued her friendship and undaunted support and am indeed so lucky to have had JK in my life. I will miss her immeasurably. Lee Helper (Los Angeles, Ca)

JK and I had a professional relationship that lasted for many years. I always enjoyed talking and working with her. We were, in many ways, kindred spirits. Although we never met in person, our phone conversations gradually deepened, going from strictly professional to very personal. I grieved with her when she lost Zoe, and I grieve for her passing now, so suddenly and much too soon. My heart goes out to her mother, brother and friends.

What a truly tragic loss for Jerilyn's family and friends. May you have only wonderful memories of your time together and, in this, may she be with you always.

In an industry with great diversity and continual change, JK was a constant: insightful, enthusiastic, and always available ... to listen, to comment, to assess, to strategize, and to support.
Jerilyn was ever the professional; but more significantly, she was a good and faithful friend.
I know that I am not alone in saying that she will be sorely missed.
