EDENS, Raymond L.
Born 7/09/1923 - 3/06/2013
Died peacefully at home after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 89. Born in Poccatello ID. to William and Gussie (Classen) Edens. Served in the Navy, World War II on the USF Fulton, a sub tender in the Pacific. Preceded by Alma Gene Edens (Scholler). They had 2 children Donald R. Edens, San Jose CA. Debra (Joe) Hayward, Hollister CA. He was a Printing Specialist for the Government Printing Office in Washington D.C. and San Francisco. And a Manager for Mead Corp. in San Jose CA. Married Beverly Kenyon Edens in 1994 they moved to Sun City Roseville in 1995. Ray was active in mens golf, Bocce and fishing clubs. Survived by step-children Kevin Kenyon (Maria), of Livermore CA.; Nancy Roark (Ken) Fair Oaks CA.; Cynthia Murayama (Byron) Roseville CA. Grandsons Steve Aalgaard (Kristy) and family Los Banos CA. Michael Aalgaard Morgan Hill CA. And step-grandsons Nathan Roark of S.F. CA. and Patrick Roark of Sac. CA. Many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held March 24, 1:00-3:30pm At Sierra Pines Golf Club 7800 Whistle Stop Way Roseville CA.
