Jerry Bryan "Fuller" (Frisco) Fuller

Jerry died peacefully at his home in Frisco on December 18th, He was born In Lufkin on April 21, 1938 to Bryant and Mineola Hunt Fuller. He truly enjoyed growing up in Lufkin and although he was an only child, there were so many neighborhood boys, that he never lacked for fun and companionship. He could (and would) tell many stories from that time, but especially of his athletic endeavors. He was proud to be called "the East Texas Flash" and was a Lufkin Panther all of his life. A severe knee injury at Tyler Jr. College ended his hopes of playing college football.

After serving the the US Army, Jerry attended Stephen F Austin University and later married Gayle Williams of Lufkin. They had two children - Bryan and Sherri. He worked several years at Southland Paper Mill in Lufkin, and after his divorce, he moved to Dallas in 1969 and was a store manager for Crabtree Electronics. That year he met Julie Pazdral Fuller from Somerville, TX. They married in 1972 and welcomed daughter Suzanne in 1978. Jerry and Julie recently celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. They lived in Carrollton for 43 years and in later life in Frisco.

Jerry was a union commercial plumber for many years for Natkin Mechanical Contractors and worked on many of the large projects in Dallas - including DFW Airport and the Galleria.

In later life, talking to his high school friends added much enjoyment to his life. When he was somewhat homebound, he faithfully worked the Dallas Morning News crossword puzzle. He was especially proud to be a charter member of Holy Covenant United Methodist Church in Carrollton and was happy to participate in the church's 50th anniversary this past spring.

He is survived by wife, Julie and children: Bryan Fuller (Sarah), Sherri Swearingen (Rob), and Suzanne Atcheson (Jason); Grandchildren: Amanda Terrell (Nick), Grayson Fuller, Avery and Wyatt Atcheson; Great grandchildren: Kaylee and Gunner Terrell and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church in Carrollton on Saturday, January 18th at 2pm. The service will be live-streamed from the church's website, www.hcumc.org or on their Facebook page.
