Jerry KWAN Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Zim Tong Kwan aged 75 in Hong Kong on July 15, 2013 from heart failure. Jerry, a resident of Calgary from 1965-1983 was an entrepreneur, politician, husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lina Mak of Hong Kong and his five children and their families in Calgary: Betty (John) Swann, Tara and David; Eileen Kwan (Ed Vandal), Logan and Austin; Dennis (Donna) Kwan, Mitchell and Trevor; Tom (Robin) Kwan, Julia and Adam; Tony (Brenda) Kwan, Mikayla and Gillian. He was predeceased by his father Jong Quan and mother Bessie. Funeral services to be held in Hong Kong on August 4th at 7 pm at the Universal Funeral Parlour, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong; followed by a private family service in Calgary this September.
