May he rest in. Peace

In 2008 I was down after a heart attack. I had strict instruction from my Doctor not to even "walk fast" for 6-8 weeks while my heart healed. It was early September and my grass had gotten very high. I was at the point of hiring someone to mow my yard. Jerry lived half a block away and somehow found out I was down and couldn't take care of my yard. I was awakened one morning to the sound of a riding mower. I looked out and there he was mowing my yard! I went out and he stopped to talk. He said "I saw that it needed to be cut so I'm cutting it!" Very matter of fact! I smiled and told him he looked like an angel riding a lawn mower! He just laughed and started back mowing! Without fail he mowed the yard until I was able to get back on my mower. Never any fanfare. He would mow his yard, drive to my place and mow mine and drive back without slowing down! They don't make them like that anymore. I will never forget that act of kindness (ministry). Praying for your wife and family, Franklin and Kristi, your children and Grandchildren. Thank you Jerry. Enjoy your eternal reward

Jerry was a great friend. He was a super person and will truly be missed. He was always ready to pull a joke on some one at the deer camp. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
