Jerry Wayne Teel, 66, passed away on Wednesday, August 21st 2024. Jerry Wayne was born in Gadsden, Alabama on September 21st 1957. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at the Attalla City Park pavilion with a light lunch to follow (Please bring a lawn or camping chair to sit in.). Rev. David Teel and Little Wayne Teel will officiate. A private burial service for the family will take place at the New Canaan Cemetery in Rainsville on a later date.

Jerry Wayne was a committed husband, devoted father, and loving grandfather. He loved his family deeply. Jerry Wayne faced a lot of adversity throughout his life but continuously persevered. He raised nine children, ran a successful company, could repair anything, and always helped others. He was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ.

Jerry Wayne is survived by his wife of 5 years, Anna; his children Jerry Wayne Teel Jr., Guy Kenneth Teel, Jennifer Lynn Teel, Richard Adam Teel, David Teel, Katherine Elizabeth Wheeler, Karen Marie Shirley, Johnathon Wayne Teel, Jacob Andrew Teel; and a host of daughters-in-law and grandchildren. Jerry Wayne leaves a void in his family's life and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, please send monetary donations to support his beloved wife, Anna, 70 Sparrow Lane, Attalla, AL 35954.

Wayne was a kind person, and a wonderful brother-in-law. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. We will miss you very much Wayne...Don, Christine, and Caleb Maharry.
