Jesse Esparza

Jesse Esparza, 65, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at DeTar Hospital Navarro in Victoria, Texas.

Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Interment will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 7:00 pm Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas with Deacon Alfonso Moreno officiating.

Jesse was born on August 6, 1949 in Gonzales, Texas. He was the son of Casimiro and Concepcion (Camarillo) Esparza. Jesse graduated from Gonzales High School in 1968 and then moved to FT. Worth, Texas. He worked for Volkswagon, manufacturing the air conditioning units for the cars. He later worked for Motorola as a radio and electronics technician. Jesse was a fan of football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He was a wrestling fan, and would go to the wrestling events when he lived in Ft. Worth.

Jesse is survived by five brothers: John Esparza of Gonzales, Texas, Casey Esparza and his wife, Rosario of Gonzales, Texas, Thomas Esparza and his wife, Mary of Gonzales, Texas, Armando Esparza of Gonzales, Texas, Fernando Esparza of Gonzales, Texas, four sisters; Mary Esparza of Gonzales, Natalie Eureste of Gonzales, Texas, Lupe Esparza of Fort Worth, Texas, Connie Olmos and her husband, Joe of Fort Worth, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Casimiro and Concepcion Esparza, four brothers; Angel Esparza, Ray Esparza, Ruben Esparza, Joe Esparza, two sisters; Candy Olmos, and Rosalinda Esparza.
