Suzanne Estelle Darrach

Darrach, Suzanne Estelle "Susie", 81, of Dartmouth passed away peacefully on April 22, 2011 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Riverport, NS she was the daughter of the late John and Dolly (Winters) Creaser. Susie was a very proud member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, where she was actively involved in the choir, the Atlantic Mission Society as well as the church dinner theatre. She was passionate about her involvement with Feeding Others of Dartmouth (Margaret's House). Susie worked for many years at the Bank of Montreal. Aunt Susie will always be remembered for her wit and great sense of humor. She is survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Creaser; nieces Joanne Turner (Curtis), Jane Creaser (Bob); nephews, Steven Creaser ( Arlene), Andrew Creaser (Karen), and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Layton Darrach; brothers Ian and Leon Creaser. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2011 from 7-9pm in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Memorial service will take place 7pm Wednesday April 27,2011 in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, with reception to follow. Rev. P.A. (Sandy) McDonald officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
