Jessenia Zavala Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 27, 2010.
Our precious Jessenia, at the early age of 7, earned her angel wings on the morning of Saturday, March 27, 2010, after a courageous year-long battle with leukemia. She was born April 12, 2002 in Provo, Utah to Raul and Vicky Hernandez Zavala. Jessenia was our beautiful daughter and wise beyond her years and we knew she was very special from the day she was born. She was the best big sister to Isabela and Sebastian. They will miss her dearly. She was always Daddy’s little girl. We will miss her radiant smile, her artistic talents and her special laugh. She never quit smiling throughout this journey, no matter how hard it became. She always had great care and concern for others. Our hearts ache to hear your sweet voice and see your beautiful smile again. We know that you will be smiling down on us. Jessenia me duele mucho el corazon, y daria mi vida para verte una vez mas. “te quiero mucho mucho mucho Siempre vamos a estar aqui esperando tu presencia. "Papi" Jessenia is survived by: her parents; sister, Isabela; brother, Sebastian; grandparents, Frannie (Francisco) Lopez, Oscar (Quina) Hernandez and Alicia (Donaciano) Zavala; many uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 1, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at the Payson Christian Life Church, 11554 South 4600 West. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Wednesday, 6-8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow. Also friends may call at the church on Thursday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial will be at the Payson City Cemetery. The family would like to express appreciation to the staff and our new family at Primary Children’s Hospital and all who have helped care for Jessenia during this past year. Donations may be made to the Jessenia Zavala Medical Account at Central Bank. "The Best "
God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around you
 And whispered "Come to me".
 A golden heart stopped beating
 Hard working hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove
 He only takes "The Best".
