Jessica Ann Holloway Knowles

Services for Jessica Ann Holloway Knowles, 64, of Tyler will be held on Tuesday, August 26, at 1:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Tyler with Senior Pastor Pike Wisner officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM.

The life of Jessica H. Knowles, who passed away on August 6, began in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on January 16, 1961. She was a twin daughter of Jesse C. Holloway and Margaret Hawley Holloway, who were reared in Southeastern Arkansas.

Jessica lived at Fayetteville, Arkansas and Richardson, Texas before moving to Greenville,

Texas where she graduated from Greenville High School. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

She was married to Steven L. Knowles at First Baptist Tyler on August 15, 1987. They have two sons, Phillip E. Knowles and Thomas J. Knowles.

She worked at Crown Petroleum's Tyler La Gloria refinery and then for CB&I Engineering and later for Primoris Design & Construction as a process engineer. She was active in First Baptist Church as a GA leader for 35 years and in the Tyler Aggie Moms' Club as a board member. She devoted her free time in service of her church and her community.

Jessica was preceded in death by her father, and by a grandson, Henry Thomas Knowles. She is survived by her mother, by her husband, her sons, Thomas' wife Amanda L. Knowles, granddaughter Genevieve Dorothy Knowles, her sister, Jennifer L. Widmer and husband Ricky, two nephews, Eric and Evan, and three nieces, Shari, Rebecca and Amy.
