I am deeply saddened to hear that Mr. Cardenas has passed away. My condolences to his wife and the rest of his family. My dad and Mr. Cardenas worked together back in the 60's in Ohio as truck drivers. Our families were very close in those days. Don Cardenas, as I would call him, always treated me as if I was part of his family. He was kind and always had a smile on his face when I would run into him throughout the years. He was a very special person and a good friend to my parents who have also passed away.
