Jewel Ham, 85, Margerum, Ala., died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004.Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Cutshall Funeral Home, Iuka, Miss. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Cutshall Funeral Home chapel in Iuka, with burial in Margerum Cemetery. Officiating at the funeral will be Brother Cecil Denton, Brother Kevin Lindsey and Brother Jimmy Hayes.She was a native of Margerum, Ala.She is survived by her sons, James Ham and wife, Diane, of Margerum, Ala., Tim Ham, of Margerum, Ala., Dwight Ham, of Margerum, Ala., and Jeff Ham and wife Stacy, of Barton, Ala.; daughters, Rose Hayes and husband, Jimmy, of Margerum, Ala., Christine Ham, of Margerum, Ala., Carolyn McVay and husband, Gene, of Iuka, Miss., and Anna Ham, of Sheffield, Ala.; six sisters; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Ham; and a son, William Harold Ham.Pallbearers will include Jeff Hayes, Ronnie Hayes, Jimmy Hayes, Jay Hayes, Wesley Remkus and Bennie McCullar.She was a homemaker and a member of Margerum Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and working puzzles.
