Jewel H Rasey

Jewel H. Rasey, 96, passed away on June 3, 2018 in Ft. Smith. She was born on June 23, 1921 to the late Tom Massengale and Bertha Webb in Lavaca, Arkansas.
Jewel was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Alan Pompey; 2nd husband, Joseph Rasey; and companion, Bill Andrews; siblings, Bill Massengale, Tommie Massengale Bonnie Henson, Eva Radley, and Leonard Massengale.
She is survived by her step-children, Kevin and Patti Bourke & family, Pat and Lisa Bourke & family, of Fayetteville, Jim Rasey, Jodie Rasey; nieces and nephews, including, Gary and Mary Radley, Jim Webb, Joyce and Jack Dean, Tonya Martin, Shawn Henson and Douglas Massengale, Brenda Coffey, Cheri Lundy, Beverly Brooks, Pat McIntyre; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Jewel was the owner/operator of the White Swan Beauty Shop in Kalamazoo, MI, for many years. She loved reading, cooking, quilting, karaoke, fishing, and going to the casino, especially with her dear friend, Maxine Forga, She enjoyed spending time with the people she loved including, Sheri Holloway, Linda and Tom Rigsbee and her Moose Lodge family.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 7, 2018, 5 - 7pm at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Her funeral will be on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12pm at Rollins with a burial to follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Dinner for family and friends will be served at 6:00 at the Moose Lodge, 215 W Apple Blossom Ave, Springdale.
