Jewell was the lighting rod of the family. I met her first back in 1974, her and Bob at the farm. My heart goes out to the family. But knowing she is now with her Lord.

Steve,
Sorry to hear about your mother. Even though I never had the pleasure to meet her I can tell that she was a great woman because I have met you.

Sending my thoughts, prayers and love to the Evans family during this difficult time. Three generations of my family have had the honor and privilege of serving on the sales side of Bob Evans Farms for a combined total of almost 120 years, and I'm very proud to still be a part of the organization. I also have some very special memories of spending time as a young boy down on the farm and at many annual Fall Festivals beginning with the first one in 1970. Through my Dad, I had the opportunity to both meet and interact with Bob and Jewell on several occasions. From a very young age I learned about the heritage and legacy of the company that I continue to proudly serve.
My Dad always said that the only constant in life is change, but the Evans family has and always will have a special place in my heart and I will forever be grateful to both Bob and Jewell for the wonderful company that grew from its humble beginnings and for the values they stood for.

My deepest condolences to the entire Evans family. Bob and Jewell had done so much for the Gallia County Community, and The University of Rio Grande. They helped me with a grant that I am forever indebted for their gratitude.
