Jimmy Dion Eakle, of West Liberty, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at his home.Funeral services were Dec. 10 at West Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Walker officiating. Burial was at West Liberty Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.Born Feb. 27, 1967, in McAlester, he was the son of Jimmy and Phyllis Eakle. He graduated from Quinton High School in 1985.He served in the United States Air Force from 1985 to 1991.He married Melanie Infeliz on Nov. 21, 1988, in Okinawa, Japan. He returned to Oklahoma in 1991. He went into business for himself starting JE Systems and Eakle Farms.He lived the American Dream. He started with nothing and built a successful business. His most valuable assets were his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Melanie Eakle, of the home; two children, Jamie Lynn Eakle and Jimmy Dennis Eakle; his parents, Jimmy H. and Phyllis (Mills) Eakle.Also, sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Stacey Rue, of Ada; nephews, Jordan Huggins and Peyton Huggins, of Ada; niece, Jessica Rue, of Shawnee; grandmother, Leola Mills, of Quinton; aunts and uncles, Coy Few, of Quinton, Kay McKee, of Quinton, Stanford and Judy Strain, of Quinton, Roger and Judy Eakle, of Stigler, and Mike and Barbara Eakle, of Quinton.And, cousins, Connie Thompson, of Stigler, Theresa Gist, of Stigler, Vickie Mills, of Norman, Mike Few, of Stigler, Sandra Few, of Quinton, Vonda Roberts, of Quinton, Stan Strain, of Quinton, Brad Strain, of Quinton, Julie Strain, of Quinton, Paul Eakle, of Wagner, Tammy Karp, of Tulsa, Nickie Eakle, of Muskogee, Lori Lowrimore, of Quinton, and Matt Eakle, of Quinton.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Sailor Mills; paternal grandfather, Glendon Eakle; paternal grandmother, Louise Cravens; aunt, Johnea Lee Wren; aunt, Glenda Ray Few; uncle, Eugene Wren; uncle, Billy Gene McKee; cousin, Johnny Eugene Wren, and cousin, Dennis Eakle.Pallbearers will be Greg Rea, Travis Hiatt, Jason Beller, Craig Avis, Paul Eakle, Dave Garnaat, Stu Rapier, Brian Wendlandt, Nick McCann and Ted Williams.
