Jimmy Morrell Sr. "D.J. Chocolate Chip" Obituary
Jimmy Louis Morrell Sr. was born May 10th 1964 to Rosalee Irvin in Dade County, Florida.
Jimmy moved to Belle Glade, Florida at the age of 4, where he lived his life with the Caldwell family. Belle Glade is where he began his life as “DJ Chocolate Chip” at The Fox Trap Lounge alone side his uncle Nat the Cat. He graduated form Glades Central Community High School, Class of 1983.
He later moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. Jimmy was employed at C&W Facility.
Jimmy entered eternal rest on May 8th 2023. He is preceded in death by his son, Korian Morrell.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Arlene Morrell of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; thirteen daughters: Delsie Jones, Jimisha Morrell, Jamisha Morrell, Jamilya Morrell, Javanye Morrell, Jimmika Morrell, Jakara Morrell, Gena Pyfrom, Shatavia Morrell, Shakeela Johnson, Yameshia Philostin (Justin) of New Jersey, Zuri Gray, Jamia Morrell; seven sons: Jimmy Morrell Jr., Jimmy Morrell IV, Jimmy Morrell III, Kawmmii Morrell, Shawn Russel, Charles Logan, Tjuan Patrick; 27 grandchildren; two sisters: Gladys Morrell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Sabrena Reeves of Pahokee, FL; two brothers: Venton Holland of Belle Glade, FL and Odest Howard of West Palm Beach, FL; very special aunts: Berry Caldwell and Marilyn Fuller; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.

James and I loved you and your daughters and wife so much. Arbor way won’t be the same without you. I know you’ll be making music in heaven with God and the angels when it’s our time to come home and see you. We’ll keep your family close and check up like we always do thank you for always being so kind and loving we will miss you jimmy!
