Dear Andy, Kristen and Tim and families,
Joan was one of my favourite colleagues at the Ontario Legislature - a diligent, committed person who worked to the highest standards and who had ready wit and a large smile. She represented her constituents with determination, and spoke of her family with great pride. I think of her often, although we haven't seen each other for a while. You are in the thoughts of many as you go through this very sad time. She will be missed.

Dear Andy, Kristin, and Tim,
Mom and Dad moved to Campbellford in the late 80's and Mom told me about their wonderful MPP. A mother, a teacher and a woman brave enough to enter the political arena. Mom loved receiving the 'Family' Christmas card. Years later, surprisingly, I met your Mom and Dad in Oakwood Manor and recognized the quiet strength, great sense of humour, 'let's get at it' attitude and generous spirit that my Mom had admired. I will surely miss my friend Joan dropping by on her daily walk and talk this winter. God bless you and your families. You have another Angel watching over you.
