Lake Bluff, IL. Mrs. Joan Copello Heath, age 82, of Lake Bluff, IL., formerly of Lake Forest, IL., died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on June 7, 2015. Born in Robinson, IL. to Everett E. "Skiv"Heath (co-founder of the Heath Candy Bar) and Madeline (Shanks) Heath, Joan graduated from Robinson Township High School, continuing her education at Northwestern University to graduate in 1955 with a Bachelor's degree in history. Mrs. Heath is survived by her longtime companion, Mr. Ronald P. Boardman Jr. Loving mother of Susan Ehrhard (Lou), Catherine Copello Disch, Paul Copello (Allison), and Heather Copello. Beloved grandmother of Matthew, Lucas and Nicholas Ehrhard, Madeline and Max Copello, and Berkeley Disch. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held on August 22, 2015.
