Joan was a proverbs 31 woman. We were blessed to be in their life for a short time, and will always be grateful to God for the whole family and all that time meant, especially when they dedicated our son Matthew to the Lord. Our prayers are with the family, and their friends. She will be missed but we are happy she is with her Savior. God Bless.

Emily,
You are one of my dearest friends and I am heartbroken to hear of what has happened. I only met your mother a couple of times but I immediately seen where you got your grace, kind heart, and passion for food from! Eric and I are thinking of you and your whole family in this moment and I would be happy to get you anything you need. Your mother will be well taken care of in her forever life above. We love you.

Elizabeth, Adam and family, my words can not express a proper understanding of the sorrow you must be feeling. Your mom had left an amazing eternal legacy in all her children. Her fruit is evident everywhere. She will be sorely missed but that pain is quickly interrupted by the blessed hope we have in Christ, knowing you will see her beautiful face again and enjoy her hugs again.

Thanking you Pastor Marlin, In His Name, for taking timeout in calling me. David & I are very grateful for your consideration in letting us know of your dearest Joan's passing. I am still so very honored to have had the pleasure of Our Lord leading me directly to your doors. Literally, your beautiful Joan came out of your door, with The Holy Spirit all over her. As soon as she greeted me, I felt the Lord's presence! She had the warmest spirit filled hands & spoke with such a Godly voice! I will never forget how lovely she was in the bright sun & without any makeup on, she was still gorgeous! I knew her FAITH WAS STRONG as soon as our eyes met. I knew she was a Godly Spirit filled lady as soon as I heard her voice! It was amazingly remarkable & very Joyful Unto The Lord! I knew then, I was in the Lord's yard. Yes indeed, I was at home when I landed in Ms. JOAN's GARDEN OF EDEN, as the colorful flowers blossomed around us. I am still in shock of how it all transpired in our 1st meeting, as if it were yesterday! It was like The Circle Of Life, when she pointed to the area where u both walked & spent quality time with Our Lord in your yd. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I MET MY BEST FRIEND & SISTER IN CHRIST, that day! OUR FATHER GOD INTRODUCED Us! YES INDEED, your Breathtakingly Beautiful wife, Ms. Joan & I finally met as best friends, as she wrapped her loving arms around me! It was the most wonderful greeting I have ever had & probably ever will have until we meet again w/OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN. I said immediatly, that I felt her Holiness & her Godly Spirit! She began telling me that your home was your CHURCH! Wow! I knew then, God sent me there to also worship as I had been Church Shopping for a place where I felt HOME 4 many years. The Holy Spirit was all over me too as we walked arm in arm together in your driveway. I graciously accepted her warm invitation to come back to meet you & the most awesome church family I have ever had the pleasure of being associated with in my whole life! I learned so much from her, u & your Church Family. I made the best & most Wonderful Holy Spiritfilled family of friends when I came thru ur doors! The best relationship is with OUR LORD & SAVIOR & Ms.Joan planted that deeply into mine & many others souls. Today, I now know how to pray & have a special relationship w/Our Father God because of The Word of Life Church! My husband, David also felt right at home especially when we had dinner on the grounds in your back yd. She will be missed by many but we shall celebrate her life tomorrow as she is walking hand in hand w/Jesus on those lovely streets of gold! She talked of those lovely times & we extend, Our Sincerest Condolences to u & all the Kauffman Family. She also sang beautifully when she praised Our Lord! She had HUGE WINGS as she hugged all with open arms! May God continue to bless all of you & The Word of Life Family & Friends. We love u all so very very much & we have missed u terribly too. Again, I apologize we did not know of the seriousness of her hospitalization until she went home 2 be w/Our Lord & Savior, when u called. Thanking you both again, In His Name, With all of our❤felt & Deepest Sympathy, Diane & David Wiegand

With sincere condolences, I want to take this time to say Kauffman Family...you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I was so blessed to have the foundation of Truth implanted in my heart from Ms.Joan...the MOST GODLY WOMAN I have ever met. She was a General in the Faith. Always encouraging! She always affirmed and loved at all times and was never lacking in a word of wisdom! My life is forever changed because she laid down so much. She was not selfish, but beautiful, gracious, loving, caring, and nurturing. The love of Christ radiated from her. She was also quick in correction. I am thankful for the obedience she has taught me. She planted seeds that continue to produce fruit in my life, my child, and others I meet. I continue to plant in others things she so selfishly taught me. She imparted more into my life than I can put on paper. She knew how to be simple and not get to wrought up and anxious. She emptied herself out day after day of all God deposited in her. I know she will be missed. There is a whole in my heart! Love you all! May God bring peace, comfort, and rest. May you all experience a renewed strength to walk through the celebration of her life here.
With Love,
Chanda Livesay

To Marlin, Brad, Leigh, Shay, Joni, Becky, Elizabeth, Emily, Ami and family, We send our love and condolences to all of you. We are praying for the Lord to keep you in His great comfort and peace, knowing that His grace will carry you through. We can only imagine how Joan is rejoicing as she walks the streets of gold hand in hand with Jesus. All that she has lived for, all that she has proclaimed, all that she envisioned, is now an awesome reality. She certainly is realizing her reward for being an outstanding servant of the most high God. We pray that you take great solace in knowing you truly will be reunited and spend eternity together!
