JoAnna Anzures Obituary
52, a native of Glendale, AZ. passed away in peace in the comfort of her home on September 12, 2015 surrounded by her family. Jody was known for her infectious smile and her laugh was contagious. She brightened up any room she entered. Jody was an avid sports fan and she never used her indoor voice when she was cheering on her team. She loved all sports but her heart belonged to the Arizona Cardinals. She also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her dogs Rocko & Roxy. Jody was a loving mother and grandmother. She always put her family first and made sure everyone was always taken care of. She was employed for over 30 years by the Department of Transportation where she made a big impact with her hard work and dedication and where she made an abundance of friends. Jody is survived by her parents, Albert & Connie Lopez, her sons Ruben (Arlene), Adrian (Arriana), brothers Alex (Liza), Richard (Stephanie), Albert Jr, grandchildren Angelina & Nathaniel, 1 niece & 3 nephews. She is loved dearly and will always be missed. May she rest peacefully.

What I admired about Joanna, on a professional level was the way she kept her composer when dealing with irate taxpayer, always calm. She was also very funny,I once waved at her and Susie from afar, she did not recognize me from afar, but told Susie wave she must know us......RIP Joanna, my you dance in haven.

I had the absolute privilege of meeting Jodi when my sister Arlene started dating her oldest son Ruben, now married. Jodi welcomed me into her family like I was one of her own. Treating me with so much respect and love. I observed her interaction with her sons, grandchildren and family and it was always with TLC (tender, love and care). You didn't have to know Jodi much to pick up on that she always put her family first, it was evident. She was truly the definition of "beautiful" and heaven has welcomed a true angel. Jodi, you will forever be missed but never ever forgotten. Thank you for two incredible sons Ruben (bro n law) and Adrian. Your love will always shine through them.
