September 27, 1952 - May 1, 2012
Joao Da Costa of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the age of 59 years. Joao was born and raised in Terceira, Portugal and then came to live in Canada. He is loved and greatly missed by all. Joao is survived by spouse Shelley White who is very proud of him, sons Andy, Mark, John, Joey and his brother Luis and sister Elisa. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in both Canada and Portugal. Joao was predeceased by his parents Felipe and Maria da Gloria Da Costa, and brothers Manuel and Tony. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4747 - 30 Street S.E.) today, May 4, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4747 - 30 Street S.E.) on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com . In living memory of Joao Da Costa, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
