Joe Alan McClellan, 34, of Roanoke passed away in Bryan, Texas on June 23, 2021. He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 23, 1986 to Joel Dean and Dawn Michelle Anderson McClellan.
Joe graduated from Northwest High School and attended North Central Texas College and Texas A&M University. He married Cindi Talluto on May 13, 2017.
Joe was a loving family man. He was a friend and brother to so many. Joe was passionate about racing and building dirt bikes. Reliable and diligent, he was a hard worker, whether building tracks, building bikes, or being a superintendent mechanical contractor at Infinity Contractors. Joe was always willing to lend a hand without asking for anything in return. His kind heart couldn’t be missed by all he came across. And his unforgettable smile would light up a room as soon as he came in.
Joe is survived by his wife, Cindi, their son, Levi and daughter, Sunnie of Trophy Club, TX; parents, Joel Dean and Dawn Michelle Anderson McClellan of Roanoke, TX; his grandma, Betty Anderson of Dish, TX; his brother, Justin McClellan and nephew Rhyder McClellan of Roanoke, TX; his brother, Jesse McClellan of Watauga, TX; his aunt, Denise Sciscoe of Dish, TX; his cousins, James Sciscoe of Oceanside, CA, Sky Sciscoe Sr. of Baltimore, MD, and Betty Sciscoe of San Diego, CA; his uncles, Franklin D. Anderson Jr. and Lloyd Anderson of Jacksonville, FL; his aunts, Terri Jones of Marysville, WA, Toni Sack of Grapevine, TX and Traci McClellan of Saginaw, TX; and family as well as his many friends who loved him like family. Joe is preceded in death by his Pawpaw, Franklin D. Anderson Sr.
Visitation will be in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, TX on Tuesday, June 29th, from 5-6 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 6:00 p.m.

I am so sorry to hear about Joe. I am in disbelief at this moment. We went to school together from elementary school on up through high school. He is a good guy and will be missed.

Joe will always be in my heart. I remember how extremely helpful he was to Scot and I every time we settled in at our campsite at the races; helped us unload, unpack, get organized and when it was time to go he helped us break down, pack up and get on our way. Many times he would drive to our house just to ride along with Scot to a race if I couldn't go. That always made me proud because of how much respect he showed to us, to anyone really. I know he wasn't a kid anymore when he left us, but in my eyes and in my heart he was a really good kid. The McClellan family will always be part of our family, my family. You are all in my thoughts, prayers, and in my heart.
