i worked with Joel when he worked for Lewis Slaton. He was always nice to me. Joel was smart and great and a nice guy. He always said his son was going to be president, the first Jewish president as an episcopalian? . So sorry to find out that he is gone. Still waiting for a Jewish president (I am episcopalian)

I just found out today (May, 22nd) that my friend Joel passed away. I am looking out at the Pacific Ocean from my place in Del Mar CA and reflecting on fond memories of our friendship starting in 1964-65. I introduced him to his wife Debora.
I hope Debora is well - I've known her since 1962.
God Bless you all,

Judge Feldman officiated at our wedding, almost 21 years ago, and we remember him with much fondness, just as we remember that special day. May his memories be a blessing for your family.

To all in Judge Feldman's family: I offer my heartfelt condolences. I worked for Judge Feldman as his law clerk from 1993 - 1996, and he always supported my growth as a lawyer and as a person. He taught me so much, and he was empathetic and understanding when I went through some personal struggles during my tenure with him. Without a doubt I became a better lawyer and person for having known Judge Feldman and having worked for him. I wish you strength as you endure this loss, and I hope positive memories such as mine are a help

Joel was a dear friend and a fine judge. I have many fond memories of the time I served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and he was a Magistrate Judge. He had a great sense of humor. I will miss him.
