Johanna GERRITS Obituary
Johanna Catharina "Cathy" Gerrits was born on January 12, 1955. She joined her Lord and Saviour on September 3, 2012. Cathy is remembered by her loving husband Herman and daughters Renee (Paul), Janine, Nicolene (Trevor), and Jessica, as well as her seven beautiful grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father Jack Hummelman and is survived by her mother Anne Hummelman, her two sisters, five brothers, their spouses and many nieces and nephews. Cathy had an unwavering faith in God. She joyfully met each day, never worrying about tomorrow. She would have us remember one thing: Know Jesus, live, walk, trust, and rest in Him. Her family cherishes the memories of her faithful love for all, which was rooted in Jesus' faithful love for Her. A Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services (2980 Smith Drive, Armstrong, BC). A Celebration of Cathy's Life will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Enderby Evangelical Chapel (708 Mill Avenue, Enderby, BC). Pastor Scott Hemenway officiating.
