Oh, My Dear Dad,
9 mos. have passed by since you met Mom in Heaven. Almost a full year has gone by. I miss you every day. I speak of you very often to the grandchildren to keep your memory alive. They are so young and I don't want them to ever forget what a wonderful man you are. They all love you so much and miss you. You will always be our rock. I am still fighting the fight, Dad, and I will continue to use everything in my power to carry out your wishes. Help keep me strong, Dad. Channel some of your never faltering strength to me. Be at peace, my father....be at peace.

10 months has passed since you have been gone. It seems like yesterday that you and I would sat in our rocking chairs outside enjoying the view. I miss you as much today as I ever have. The entire family misses you. We all love you so much . I know you are at peace, Dad.

Dad, 7 mos. already! I can't help but wonder how I have gotten through these months without you here with me. We are moving into Spring and every site of growing flowers and smell of grass, the "flyers" swooping down for there worms in the wet soil from all the rain. I know how much you loved all the seasons, but this is when you were able to go out and "get back to work" with all your chores and projects. I think this will be the hardest time of year for me.
I have good news also. Jamie had her baby girl on Tuesday and they named her Madeline Elsya Bullis. She is a perfect angel. I know how much you loved to hold the babies. I know you and Mom are here in spirit, though.
I love you and gonna have a Margarita in honor of you and my memories of enjoying our margaritas together!

Dad, today is the 4th anniversary since we lost you. My sadness and missing you continues and always will. I feel so blessed to have had you for my Dad. You were and still are my mentor, my friend and the best Grandpa in the world. Your legacy will live on with your offspring. I love you so much. Thankyou for all you have done for me and your entire family.
Be at peace, my dear Dad. Someday we will be reunited in heaven.

Dear Uncle John,

It's been three months now since you went to live in Heaven. We surely do miss you here. I am so glad that we spent the last nearly two years of your life living in the same house. We did have some fun, didn't we? Having one too many glasses of wine when Mary Beth was out, then trying our best not to get 'found out' when she got home; taking off to play blackjack at Turning Stone in my convertible Mustang (and, again, getting caught by Mary Beth!), long talks in your room about the women in our lives, playing the dreaded 'wallet game,' and just being silly together. We were quite a team, you and me. We were buddies.

You were a shining example of a gentleman and an overall good guy. You faced life's adversities with grace and dignity; I always admired that about you.

I hope you're having fun in Heaven, buddy...you deserve a good time.

I'll continue to take care of your baby.

Thank you for everything.

With love,
Lisa

Today is the 3rd month anniversary since you went to heaven to be with Mom, your son, John and your daughter,Nina. Although, I miss you beyond belief, it gives me comfort to know that you are at peace in heaven. You are always in my heart and I honor your memory in so many ways every day. Every day I see your smile and your twinkling eyes in your pictures ; that brings tears to my eyes and yet a smile on my face. I love you, Dad.

John Alibrandi was (is) one of my dearest uncle. His wife, my Aunt Elsya, was my father's sister. He was (is) so sweet and kind to me and my brother always. His brother-in-law, my father worked for JGA Corporation and ran many jobs. We spent many holidays together and visited back and forth. I will always love him. Heartfelt condolences to all the rest of his family.

It has been 5 days since my Dad passed away. He was unresponsive for 48 hrs. without opening his eyes. Tuesday,at 3:05am, my father opened his eyes as if to tell me that he was ready to leave this earth. With his face in my hands I told him how very much we, his family, love him and will miss him forever. I told him, smiling, through tears streaming down my face, what a wonderful father and man he was and that his legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and everyone he touched in his 93 years. I told him it was time and ok for him to go,because, as you see, my Dad worried about his family before himself, even at his last dying breath. As if a great weight was lifted, he gently glosed his eyes and took his last breath. Lisa and I said our good-byes and prayers over his body.

My Dad was one of the best men that ever lived. He has taught his family well. He will never be forgotten. I love you Dad and I will think of you every day of my life. I was outside last night with my pups and there were billions of stars out without a cloud in the sky. I looked up and imagined you and mom slow dancing together, at last.

Mary Beth and Lisa,

Please know that I am with you, in heart, mind, and spirit ... as I have always been. I know how much JGA meant to you.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I live with the example of the two of you, as role models for how to be children to an elderly parent.

Much love, and big hugs.

Tom, Michael, David and Mary Beth (and their children), my sincerest condolences on the loss of your Dad/Grandfather. Although I don't remember alot of my childhood prior to my mother's passing, I do remember seeing Uncle John in the office, standing proud, strong and tall - an icon to a little girl. From what I've read here, I wish I had had the opportunity to get to know him better. I'm sure Grandma, his father, my Dad, Uncle Jim and his sisters welcomed him with open arms and they're happy to be all together again.

David, I never got to meet your father personally. However, through your stories about him I feel like I did. What a great legacy, to live life so fully for 93 years and accomplish so much. After reading the obituary it is easy to see why you turned out to be the man you did. What a great example you had. I'm sure your dad was proud of all his children. I'm praying for you and your family at this time of great personal loss.
