My how time flies ... I think back to the times growing up in Laurel, always being next door to your Dads Gas Station... those were some fun times .... Im picturing your Dad smoking one of those big cigars and always being busy doing something or helping customers...

So many times Id be in your Daddys truck or your Mamas car , going home with you for lunch... I was the Sister you never had .

Sunday was no different ... l got picked up for church.. we spent years of growing up together... Your parents were always so kind to me ... Ms. Kitty , soft spoken and sweet ..

After years of being away and going back to Laurel and seeing your Dad , years after your Moms passing, I saw a proud but lonely man .
Proud of his sons accomplishments , but missing the love of his life Ms Kitty .. I will always cherish the memories .. ❤
Love you two
Always the same , Lee

My deepest sympathy on your Dad's passing. I will miss seeing his smiling face when I go to the Sawmill Mall. The last time I saw him there we talked about his Navy days and he was sure proud of the Letter his son had fixed up for him, the one he had received back in WWII. Mr. John was one of our treasured Disabled American Veterans.
While I was standing there with him at the exit door a young lady came in the door, saw him and said "Hey Good Looking!", gave him a warm hug, then she walked off. Mr. John looked at me and said "Who was that woman?" We both had a good laugh over that and his laugh will last forever in my memory.
May God bless your whole family.
