I am deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. I was fortunate to work with John and be "entertained" by him in the early 80's at CS and CD until I went my own way. But that didn't stop our friendship. He even as recently as this spring stopped by my office just to say hello. He always had a positive attitude which when he left the visit left you refreshed. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend. The world has lost a good one. Regards Danny

There are just so many things to say about about a man I was proud to call a second father. I've know the Denneys for over 20 years and John alway let me know I had a place in his home. Many happy times from trips to the cottage to fixing my car in the driveway, and fixing it fast as if it wasn't done on time, out came John with the hammer. Thank you Tyler, Tommy and Justin for sharing you dad with me. Rest in peace Sir.

John was a great guy, always fun to be with.
I played hockey with John for many years and he was known as "the hack". He was tough in the corners and tough in front of the net but overall he was a really good guy. We will miss him.
My sincerest condolences and my prayers go out to John's family for the loss of such good man.

John was my brother in law and many times wee would sit and have a coffee and have good conversations. Last sept 5th we played a game of golf to celebrate our 70 th birthdays and he really enjoyed sinking a shot from off the green and could not see the flag I said great lucky shot and he just grinned. I pray the boys can carry on and do well in the years ahead.

I had the pleasure of joining John, Jake, Steve and Kevin on many of .their annual fishing trips. Always a blast. John knew how to have fun and was a valued friend over the past 45 years. John and Jake and I were planning to see each other again this month.
You will be greatly missed John.

John is someone you can´t ever forget. He was always a pleasure to talk to. Always cracking a good one liner joke. Anytime I´d come to spend time with Tommy or Tyler, i would HAVE to go and say hi to him. His energy, his aura, his humour, will be dearly missed. My condolences to the family. He will be missed. Rest in paradise.

John was instrumental in arranging a house party at his house where my wife and I had our first date. It was a wonderful date and we ended up getting married. Thanks John.

John was one of my dad´s best friends since high school, and after my dad passed away he always made sure to invite my mom and I to thanksgiving dinner so we never felt alone. He gave the best bear hugs, and I will always remember him tucking me in at night when he babysat me with his dog who knew how to cover its nose and "say your prayers". We miss you John!!

I met John as a teenager, he was the authoritative parent of my friend Tyler. Tyler and I developed a friendship and I would often visit the household. At first John was skeptical of me, it had nothing to do with my big mouth, and shenanigans, I think it had to do with how he has seen me as a person. As we all continued to mature and age, John was always a positive influence on me; but through life and responsibilities I have seen less of John, Tyler and Tommy.. Justin you are also included; as we all shared a space and time together with each other and John.
So my best memory, my favourite moment, would probably be getting to know John and letting John get to know me. Rest in peace Mr.Denny
