John Paul GABRIELE

It is with great sadness that we announce John's passing on Saturday, July 31, 2021, in his 53rd year at Niagara Health St. Catharines Site, due to complication from diabetes. A loving husband to Tracy (née Visser), together for 24 years. A wonderful dad to Rebecca and Tara (Lee Saldat). Cherished son of Angelo and Angiolina Gabriele and son-in-law to Bonnie (the late Hotzen) Visser. Loving Grandson to Maria (the late Domenico) Ricciuto and the late Giovanni (Vincenza) Gabriele. Big brother to Robert (Richelle) and Paul (Krista) and brother -in-law to Sherri (Robert) Skrumeda. Much loved uncle to Amanda (Jake), Madelyn, Brooklyn, Juliana, Angelo, Travis, Bradley, and Kimmy. Special Godson Incoronata (the late Mario) Minicucci. John will be fondly remembered by Angela (the late Frank) Covatta. Nephew to Joseph Gabriele, Antonietta (John) Meffe, Theresa (the late Frank) Ruscio, Phyllis (the late John) Sergenese, Jimmy (the late Rita) Ricciuto, Tony Ricciuto, Marion Diltz, Margaret Diver and Richard Visser. John is also survived by his many loving cousins and friends, and his best four-legged friends Fluffy and Stanley. John loved to play pool. John had a way of making everyone laugh. He was very happy, friendly, and fun and would do anything to cheer you up. Relatives and friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street Thorold on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Vigil prayers recited on Wednesday at 3:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
