John William (Gunner):
Peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Summerset Care Centre, Palmerston North, aged 83 years. Loved and loving Husband of Alison for 60 years. Much loved Dad of Grant and Bernice, Mark and Trish, Niki and Andre, Todd and Wen-Hsun, and Tessa and Mike. Treasured grandad and great-grandad to Aaron, Emma, Ben, Jamie and Sophie; Ben, Josh, James and Liam; Thaen; Cosmo and Nico; Max, Mila, and Gaia. Special friend to Denise and Tim. In lieu of flowers donations to St Johns Ambulance would be greatly appreciated and can be left in the Cathedral Foyer. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Peter's life in the Cathedral of The Holy Spirit, Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 2.00pm, to be followed by Private Interment.

Sorry to hear of John's passing. He was always a delight to talk to when visiting Mum, and he was a lovely neighbour to her at Summerset. I will miss you both.
