John Harris Obituary
Mr. John Douglas Harris, age 60, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Monday, February 5, 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee. John was born in Marshall County and was a retired butcher. He was a member of Old Lasea Church of Christ. Mr. Harris is preceded in death by his father, William Douglas Harris.
Mr. Harris is survived by his daughter, Rachel Harris (Chris) Jeter, Pleasant View, TN; mother, Mary Moses Harris, Chapel Hill, TN.; sister, Kathy Harris (Bill) Garrett, Lewisburg, TN; fiancé, Wendy Newsom, Chapel Hill, TN.
Family members will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
Chris Jeter, Bill Garrett, Mike Corter, Bill Eddins, Tony Eddins, and Dee Walker will serve as pallbearers.
