Dear Carol so sorry to hear of John's passing.I will always remember our times tracking Around the bush with John and Frank John taught me and many others the art of tracking and I'm sure our dogs appreciated John's gentle handling. Hodges John. Passed away 31/3/20. The Committee and members of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Victoria (GSDCV) Ballarat Branch, along with many friends throughout the 11 Victorian branches of the GSDCV Club, express their sincere sympathy to Carol, Andrew, Karen, extended family and 'Storm'. John was a Foundation member, Instructor, Branch Manager, Chief Instructor and Club member for 42 years of the Ballarat Branch. He also held the position of Victorian Trial Manager and was recognised as a GSDCV Life Member. We wish to acknowledge his contribution and dedication to the German Shepherd breed and Club. Many fun times had and John will be long remembered in our hearts.

Hodges John The Committee and Members of the Ballaarat Dog Obedience Club are saddened by the loss of our past president, vice-president and life member of the club. You were such an inspiration to our club and a mentor to many in obedience and tracking and you were always there to have a joke and a laugh. Deepest sympathy to Carol and family. Track on John
