I am sincerely sorry to learn of johns passing at this late date. John and I shared a room for 2 years while we were stationed at manzano base. John was a good friend and a kind soul, who I know will be missed by his family an friends. I deeply regret losing touch with him. I visited he and his family when i was traveling home after discharge and he visited my family in Virginia a couple of years after our discharge. My sincere condolences to all of the family.

Sincerely,
John Scott

John will be truly missed. I met John while getting started in married life, home ownership and my career.
John was more than a co-worker he was a mentor. We could talk for hours about any subject - investments, vacations, landscaping, exercise, or life in general. I always valued his opinion and many things I do today were influenced by John. Now I take a little extra time for that young guy that has a question, just as John did with me.
His humor, patience and wisdom will always be remembered.

Dear Mike, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was one of the most genuine and kindest people i have ever met, from the times we played baseball and basketball, until now, he never changed how he treated people. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. I know when i spoke to your mom and you at church a couple weeks back we prayed for all of you. We will continue to do so and remember that he will be with your entire family each and every day.
