John and Joan Kapusnik

John and Joan Kapusnik Escondido Notice: Celebration of Life Service with reception to be held Saturday, May 12th at 10am in Escondido at Church of the Resurrection - 1445 Conway Drive. Burial will be Monday, May 14th at Miramar National Cemetery.John Joseph Kapusnik (age 91) and Joan Elizabeth Kapusnik (age 90) passed peacefully John: December 27, 2016; Joan: January 11, 2018. They were loving parents of Mary Ann Puett, Joan Uner, Jean Rossall, Carol Buchner, Linda Doss and John Kapusnik. They also loved and enjoyed their 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. John and Joan were both born in Chicago and moved to Escondido in 1965 where they had an avocado/orange ranch, and later a commercial fishing business.
