John Wayne Kieren, 75, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1pm Saturday, April 11, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Friday, April 10, at Hampton Vaughan.
John was born on April 14, 1939 to Pendleton and Jennie Kieren, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He married Ollie Kieren in 1962. He worked for the Wichita Falls Water Department for 30 years. John loved his family and friends. When he was younger, He spent a lot of time doing what he loved; Fishing and camping trips.
John is preceded in death by; his parents, a brother; Ed Kieren, a sister; Pansy Briscoe, and a greatgranddaughter; Patience Jones.
John is survived by his wife of 52 years; Ollie Kieren of Wichita Falls, three daughters; Ruth and husband, Jimmy Zamora, of Iowa Park, Texas, Melissa, and Donna Kieren both of Wichita Falls, Texas, three grandchildren; Chris Alvarez and wife, Kristina, of Wichita Falls, Laura Day and husband, Willie, of Wichita Falls, Josh Zamora of Iowa Park, five great-grandchildren; Ivan Alvarez of Del City, OK, Baylee, Alyvia Alvarez, Skye and Damieon Jones of Wichita Falls, three sisters; Emma "Lovie" and husband Will Jacks of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Rosie and husband Jim Cook of Denver, Colorado, and Paula Smith of Wichita Falls, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
