John Knight Obituary
John had a deep love for the water and was an avid boating and fishing enthusiast. He was a proud member of the Chagrin River Salmon Association and served as Past Commodore of the Western Reserve Yacht Club, where he found camaraderie among fellow boating enthusiasts. His passion for the outdoors extended to grilling and smoking various meats, a skill he enjoyed sharing with loved ones. When not on the water or tending to the grill, John could often be found engrossed in a mystery novel or working through a challenging crossword puzzle.
Above all else, John cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Roberta Knight; his children, John Knight Jr. (Sue), Kenneth Knight (Semra), Andrea Woodby, Kelly Knight, and April Malcolm (Edward); his grandchildren, Shannon Smith, Ambrosia Martinez, Alyssa Malcolm, John Knight, and Kristofer Burnette; and his great-granddaughters Peyton Estok, Addison Weber, Isla Rose, and Ainsley Burnette. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Carmen Knight.
John's presence brought warmth to those around him. His love for family and friends was evident in every gathering he hosted and every moment spent enjoying life's simple pleasures. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
