John LEAFLOOR Obituary

Published by Ottawa Citizen on Dec. 19, 2015.
LEAFLOOR, John Samuel
April 11, 1940 – December 14, 2015
It is with sad hearts we say goodbye to John Leafloor, beloved son of Jean and Everett Leafloor (both deceased). He leaves behind his wife Sandy, his sisters Sally (Glen) and Sue (Stew, deceased), his niece Lisa, his nephews Luke (Stephanie) Shawn, Grant and great-nieces Morgan and Daron (deceased). He also leaves behind his "in-laws" in England. He will greatly miss his visits to the City View Curling Club where he spent many happy years with his curling buddies and special friends, which include Stephen, Don and Ron, to name a few. Special thanks go out to Dr A. Lamothe and Dr L. Eapen from the Ottawa Cancer Centre, Dr M. Raymond and Maryse Bouvette from St Vincent's Hospital. It is John's wish that there be no visitation or service. Cremation has already taken place. Donations in John's memory can be made to the "Do It For Daron" foundation at the Royal Ottawa.

It saddened me to hear that my 'BEST' high school buddy lost his fight with the dreaded 'C'. His parent Jean and Everett, accepted me into their 'family' as their own. I had many good times and many happy memories with John, Sally, Sue and Glen.
Rest in Peace my FRIEND.
