John N. Lewis

John N. Lewis, 51, passed away on Wed. May 27, 2015 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born Aug. 5, 1963 in Erie, PA, was a former resident of Orange County, CA and has lived in Libertyville for the past 13 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville and employed as a Vice President of Global Fabrication for the S&C Electric Company in Chicago. John enjoyed traveling, the ocean and especially being with his family. Surviving are his wife Susan (nee Moore) Lewis and 3 children, Ashley, Kristen and Joshua, all of Libertyville; His mother, Patricia Lewis, brother, Michael (Mary) Lewis and sisters, Mary Lewis and Linda (Ed) Cieslak. He was preceded in death by his father, Norbert Lewis and his brother David. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville. Prayers will begin at 9:30 am Tuesday, June 2 at the funeral home followed by a 10 am funeral mass at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be given to the family as an education fund is being established for his children.
